On this page you can read Vic and Roxy's biographies, which will give you an insight into their performing experience and a feel for the range of music they can offer
Vic Clements
Vic is an expressive and versatile performer, with a flexibility and richness of voice that enables him to sing across a wide range of vocal genres. His repertoire ranges from opera and musicals to modern ballads and recently he has set up as a duo with Roxy to concentrate on perfoming ballads, jazz and Swing in concert and cabaret.
When Vic first began singing in 1987, he trained in the classical repertoire and appeared in many musical and operatic productions, both amateur and professional, performing most of the leading Verdi, Puccini and Mozart baritone roles. In his early days he was also a regular Singing Festival competitor, winning several championships and major prizes but now concentrates on the stage, concert platform and cabaret.
Roxanne Boulter
A solo singer since her early teens, Roxy has enjoyed exploring a wide variety of musical styles, and has a particular love for musical theatre.
Her vocal journey began as a soloist in Gilbert and Sullivan and the popular musicals such as Oklahoma, Showboat and Carousel. Along the way, Roxy has performed as a soloist in choral works, sung Opera with local groups and, in recent years, has been a vocalist with"Spire", an Oxford based five-piece folk band.
With considerable experience in a wide variety of vocal styles, Roxy is discovering a new passion for jazz, swing and blues, all of which are perfectly suited to her voice and expressive vocal style. As a regular performer in Concerts and Gala Evenings locally and further afield, Roxy is delighted to be joining Vic in taking "Ballad and Swing" to new audiences.
